Spraying Application Tools
Spray Application tools are the utensils required to correctly and accurate choose not only when to go spraying but also how to go spraying with what type and size nozzle. The Windmate handheld weathermeter is a tool every farmer should own. Features include temperature, relative humidity, wet bulb temperature, dewpoint, Delta T, Wind speed, wind direction and compass. Water sensitive paper allows the end user to view coverage and drift analysis quickly and easily on their own property. As the name suggests as soon as water touch’s the paper, the impact point turns blue clearly indicating the level over coverage currently being obtained. The Calibration kit is an absolute necessity. The kit includes, Teejet tip tester and nozzle brush to measure flow from your clean nozzle in litres per minute, measuring jug to collect and check the volume against a stopwatch, gloves to ensure all these activities are done safely, pressure gauge on quick fit cap to measure pressure when measuring flow on a boom line, all stored safely and neatly in a plastic tackle style box. The Teejet catalogue and Hardi calibration disc are also a very handy tool to keep in the vehicle, sprayer filling station or office to ensure application rates, speed and pressure are all taken into account when selecting a nozzle.
