The JM & JS Ranges are jet assisted pumps and are designed to draw water from a deeper source such as a well, and deliver water to a house. Together with the PressControl, this system with provide constant even pressure in the house / building. The press control will shut the pump off when no water is required due to a tap / toilet cistern being turned off.
The SMH range is a multistage unit providing more pressure and flow compared to the JM / JS range. Together with the PressControl, this system with provide constant even pressure in the house / building. It also incorporates a sensor that shuts the pump off in the event of the PressControl being damaged by a lightning strike or power fluctuations and not being able to turn the pump off. This is the best choice of pump drawing from a rainwater tank for an average family home.
